Grant Writing
I was struggling for a topic for this week’s blog and saw a lot of people posted about grant writing. Most of these blogs discussed how tedious it was to write a grant. Yes, it did involve a lot of specifics, IRS forms, budget information, board member information, etc., but it was also interesting to me. I didn’t think it was that difficult. Perhaps that was because we worked as a group. It didn’t seem like we had to put in a lot of time. I suppose if the other four people didn’t help with the grant, it would have been a lot more stressful. I realize the importance of grants for non-profit organizations now. However, I would definitely never want to write one on my own.
