Why I’m taking Fundraising and Philanthropy

My name is Allison Hennigh and I am a senior in public relations. I decided that this class was a good opportunity to learn different aspects of the public relations field. I am still not completely sure about what I want to do with my future career and I believe that taking this course will teach me more about a division of PR that I don’t know very much about. I have worked a lot with many different types of organizations throughout my time in college and I have a real interest in the philanthropy and fundraising field.
